WOW so 2 more days of classes and i will have finished ahhh!!!!!!!! that is so super exciting! well i will still have exams but whatever for the most part i will be finished!!!!

I Am Crazy and Needed A Study Break

WHAT?!

So this morning i wake up and was kinda sad because it is a monday morning but my last monday of classes!!! Then i look out the window and i feel as if i have been transported back in time because it was snowing. Yes snow like big white snowflakes falling from the sky. Also it was sticking to the ground not just disappearing. Well after my first two classes most of it had melted and it had stopped snowing. Seriously though it is April 28 and there was snow!!!!!!!!! WTF!

Also it is rumered that Kevin Jonas has a girlfriend which is kinda unfortunate because we were going to fall in love and get married! Oh man well 68 days until the concert!!!!! i am super excited about it!!!! AH JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!!

Hang In There

So I have almost completed my freshman year of college!!! All i have is 5 class days and three days of exams and then it will be summer. The thing that i feel i have been waiting an eternity for.

Jonas Brothers!
So i have not talked about them in a really long time. They were on OPRAH!!! Gosh i am jealous because i love Oprah almost as much as I love the Jonas Brothers. Also i am still really excited to see them in concert and hope it will be amazing!! Also their new CD comes out in August i think the 12th but i am not sure. Also Camp Rock comes out in June so this is going to be an AMAZING Jonas Summer!!! I can't wait!!!

Funny Story!!!!!
So in English today only 7 people came to class and out English professor told us this story:
We were talking about holding class outside and he said that we would if the weather was nice enough and then he said that "Once in college we had a class outside and sat on the steps in front of the building. I was of course not paying attention and saw this ant walking across the step hauling this huge beetle with him i was seriously impressed. well anyways he reached the part of the step that starts to incline and i thought well that is the end of this but no that dang ant started climbing right up the step with the beetle. I mean can you even imagine that would be like us trying to scale the side of a building while holding a refrigerator"

The Tale of a Burned Out Lightbulb

This is a true story. As it was happening i was writing everything down so that i could tell everyone about it. I only made up what her dad was saying and it is probably realistic


So today something shocking happened in my dorm room. My roommate turned on her desk lamp and then it burned out. Apparently this was quite a shocking event for her because she was very surprised something like that could occur. She was very confused about the situation and so i had to help her out. I told her that the light had burned out. I guess that she had never turned on a light before only to have it go out. Now last year in physics we learned that when lights just burn out the filament breaks or something like that. With this being said it is obvious that i am quite knowledgeable about this subject matter. Well since she could not figure out what had happened she had to call her father. Now i only heard her side of the conversation but i can basically guess what her dad was saying to her
Roommate: Um so i was sitting here and i turned on my light but it did not work
Dad: ok i will bring you a new one what kind is it?
Roommate: Well ahh i have no idea it lights up and there is a sixty on the bottom is that important?
Dad: ok sixty watts is it clear or frosted?
Roommate: Well i think that it is clear i can see through it oh wait maybe it is opaque yeah i think that is it
Dad: No it would be clear or frosted
Roommate: Oh well um maybe is frosted like transparent?
Dad: no that would be clear
Roommate: well i think it is translucent because i can see right through it and it is clear
Dad: so it is transparent and clear
Roommate: Yes clear. Dad i have no idea what happened i just turned it on and there was a big flash of light and then there was no light at all
Dad: It must have burned out that happens
Roommate: So they just turn off like that? That is really strange i unscrewed it and rescrewed it but nothing. They should make them better.
Later...
Natasha: You have a desk light under your desk that you could turn on
Roommate: ...
...
Roommate: Oh i just realized that there is a light attached to my desk that i could use
Natasha: Oh yeah how about that
Roommate (turning the switch on and off): That is weird it will not work but it worked before
Natasha: Maybe you have to plug it in
Roommate: no i never had to before
Natasha: Are you sure?
Roommate:...
...
Roommate: oh i do have to plug it in now it works

DUH

I think that parents need to teach their children better life skills

Late Night

Well first of all sorry that i am posting so late but i have a huge Spanish presentation tomorrow that i might fail but anyways i have a story for you that you might enjoy
So i was iming with my mom and then she all of a sudden goes "BTW you have too much personal information on your facebook" so here is the story my brother forgot to log out of his so my mom went on it and looked and my facebook and then started to tell me everything that was wrong with mine i was of course super mad at her and told her that she was being too nosy and that it did not really matter what i had on there and that she should not be looking at it anyways and then she was upset that i thought she was being nosy but she was so yeah that was a great story also ahhh mother

also i may not be able to post everyday because of all the dumb homework i have but i will for sure try to do it daily since that is my goal

A Visitor from a "Big City"

Finally someone was able to come and visit and she was from a larger city than De Pere so she was shocked by this dinky place! My friend came up to visit this weekend so that is why i did not have time to blog also school is winding down but now the courseload is picking up so that is not fun. So i am going to tell you all about my weekend 'cause it is kinda funny. So my friend arrived on Saturday around one-ish maybe and then we hung out and talked for a while. then we decided to go into De Pere for a walk and we walked to the candy store and bought some really good chocolate. Then we chilled in the room i think we watched a movie. went to dinner and then watched more of another movie then we decided to go outside. it was maybe 11:00 and it was kinda nice out although it was a little cold but we decided to walk around we walked into De Pere and were going to go to McDonalds but because we are in the middle of nowhere everything closes by at least 9:00 (this is not really a lie) So the only thing open was festival foods so we went there and bought Cap'n Crunch and cheese curds and ate them on our walk back to campus. then the next morning we went to brunch hung out a little more and then she got to return to a place where things stay open past 9:00 and there are more than 3000 people. Oh how i wish i could be there right now but not to worry i will now update you on my almost to summer countdowns
Spanish: 7 classes left plus an exam
English: 7 classes left
Lifespan: 6 classes left plus an exam
Philosophy: 5 classes left plus an exam
Total days: 17 left
I am almost there and finished with my freshman year!!! I just hope that these last few weeks do not drag on forever because i am done with school and just want summer so so badly

Sometimes I Am Really Dumb Bahahahahaha

So here is a semi-funny story but maybe you had to be there. today i had a major dumb moment In English we wrote silly poems and then had to read them out loud so after everyone had read them this happened
English Professor: So Natasha what is one word that describes all of these poems
Natasha: um... fun
English Professor: Yes they were fun and very silly. So would you say that any of these poems were really deep or meaningful?
Natasha: No
English Professor: Right it was just for fun we were all just being silly. Have you ever just written silly poetry before this

Natasha: Well maybe?

MAJOR Let Down

I would just like to say that today i discovered that this part of the Jonas Brothers When You Look Me In The Eyes video was shot in Milwaukee. Wait! What?! I know Milwaukee it is right by where i live!!!!! Lame i know but 80 Days until i see the Jonas Brothers at Summerfest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also my mom and i are going to see Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift and i am really excited about that and i love my mom!!!

Step One: Admit You Have a Problem

Okay so here we go I am addicted to the Jonas Brothers! So i have known this for a really long time but i think now it is a serious problem. Today as i was watching them perform in concert on a youtube video i realized that when i go to the concert this summer i am going to be acting like every 12 year old fan that is there. Seriously i am going to really embarrass myself and probably my little sister as well. Right now as i am writing this i can not even stop smiling. I AM SUCH A DORK!!!

So my roommate's search for Johnny Depp was unsucessful however she did get to see the set and so she thought that was really cool. Also she learned that they will be filming this week and she may drive down again tomorrow to maybe see him. I am strongly encouraging this. So this could turn out to be a very good story i will have to let you know tomorrow

So today nothing funny happened at all. This is really unfortunate because once again i do not have a funny story. Oh the Jonas Brothers are currently back in the USA after traveling in Europe for quite some time. A New Goal for Summer!!!

Okay so nothing really happened today again sorry but this is what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere but my roommate did go to Oshkosh today to stalk Johnny Depp because he might be there filming his new movie and so she was going to try to find him haha i will let you know how that went when i find out
Yesterday it snowed and i was really really saddened by this i mean come on snow in April but i guess that it happens up north
Today a friend and i made a goal that we are going to have friends that are boys by the end of summer so add this to my list from yesterday here are the requirements of this friendship with a boy

• We can call/text them anytime we want
  
• we have hung out with more than three times

now this is a kinda big goal an even bigger one we set was to maybe have boyfriends by the end of summer but i think that is too ambitious

So hopefully when i meet Kevin Jonas this summer hahahaha he will be this boy kidding he probably won't even see me in the large group of screaming girls also if he talked to me i might die literally
that's all i have to say for today because it is just a boring day like all the others

27 Days

Yup that's right 27 days until i am on summer vacation. So today nothing really happened at all so i have nothing to say yesterday i went to a play with my roommate and her friend which was awkward since my roommate invited me but then never told her friend that she invited me it was strange but the play was really good Since all i do now days is dream about what i am going to do over the summer i have made a list of goals i would like to achieve this summer so here they are i am sure you are dying to hear what i want to accomplish

1. Go to a Jonas Brothers concert
2. read at least 10 books
3. make a list of 100 fun things to do and do all of them
4. hug more

haha okay number four was a joke because i only have 3 goals for summer which is lame anyways that was really exciting

So today was really really uneventful like all of the other days i have had recently but since yesterday i shared a funny story about my English professor i thought that i would share another one that i remembered today so here we go!!!

So one day just as we were about to get out of English my professor was like before you go i have a story to share with you. do you ever have really strange thoughts? No? well this morning as i was walking in to class i walked into the building and you know everyone stomps their feet to get rid of all the snow on their shoes well i saw a footprint that was really really narrow and it made me think wouldn't it be funny if someone had the imprint of a foot on the bottom of their shoes so when they walk they leave footprints behind well what if someone had something like that and put it on the bottom of their shoes and walked around outside in the snow then people be like who was the crazy person walking around without shoes on

Yup that is my strange English class for you well let's see nothing else happened today i have not yet watched the new episode of the office because my internet is too slow for it to work properly but not to worry i will watch it soon

Okay something else recently my roommate has been leaving the window open why i have no idea because it is really really cold in here and it is rainy and wet outside and the window is open right now and it is like we are in the arctic also it is still raining outside and we are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow tonight WTF

Today Jesse McCartney is 21!!!!! I bet that he is sitting drunk somewhere right now as you read this so since it is his birthday and sophomore year i had a really big obsession with him here is a little info about him that i memorized then and still know

Living Up North, WI

Well since I am having such a boring day I have decided to blog a little earlier than normal and I might even blog again later if I am still bored so that might be fun!!!!

So I kinda have nothing exciting to share about today either so I accidentally slept through my first class and then there were only 10 people in my English class which made it a little better kidding it was no different

Also today my Internet has been acting really strangely it loads things weird and it is kinda hard to explain but it is really annoying me a lot also while I am typing this up every single word I have typed so far has a red line under it meaning that I have spelled it wrong and I am positive that most if not all of these words are spelled correctly woah okay so I just used spell check and now everything is all good again!!!! WOHOOOO!!!!!!


So living Up North I have had some really strange experiences and have learned some new things that I would like to share...

Traffic
These people have no concept of actual traffic because they have never actually driven in a big city like Milwaukee (which is not even that big of a city) I once tried to explain traffic in Milwaukee vs. traffic in Kimberly once to my roommate the conversation went something like this
Roommate: Gosh I do not want to drive home right now because it is rush hour and there will be a lot of traffic and I hate driving in traffic
Me: yeah I hate traffic too
Roommate: Yeah once I left my house for school five minutes late and there was so much traffic that I arrived at school five minutes late
Me: Yeah, I find that the traffic here is not all that bad once I left for school five minutes late and got there 15 minutes late because of traffic
Roommate: Well that is not that bad I mean once I went out in rush hour and there were about 10 cars stopped at the light.
Me: Oh that is really bad

Dressing Up
My parents recently attended a wedding of one of my cousins and this is true everyone was wearing jeans and t-shirts. I find this disgusting. Now I am just going to say that if anyone were to show up to my wedding dressed inappropriately I would not let them in and I do not care who you are. Yeah I am going to be a bridezilla!

Ketchup
I am not sure if this is really an Up North thing but these kids put ketchup on everything that they possibly could it is GROSS

Weather
One day the feels like temp. Was -40 and there were still people wearing shorts which was insane

Hunting
Hunting season is insane up here everyone hunts I am not even kidding everyone skipped classes on the first day of the season and went hunting hahaha it was crazy

Madison
So some kids in one of my education class went to Madison for Halloween and described the city as big and scary. They went out to party in the streets but went back into their hotel room because there were just too many people hahahaha seriously?

Packers
Now I know that the Packers are big in the whole state but something about being in Green Bay during the season gives you an idea of the whole obsession. I once went to the mall with my aunt during a game and first of all no one was at the mall because of the game there were maybe 75 people at the mall and all of them were wearing packer jerseys

Brett Farve
The god of the packers retired this year and many people on campus were suicidal over this and I was really worried. First of all when it was announced I was in my 8:00 class and when I got to my 9:00 I thought that something really serious had happened. People were coming into class saying things like “I never thought this day would come” “Today is the day the world is going to cry” (one girl really said this and I was kinda afraid to find out what happened) also they said “I don’t know what I can do now” “This can not really be happening” I was really frightened then a kid walked in with a Farve jersey on and he was like I have been crying ever since I found out he was going to retire I was immediately relieved that there was not actually a national disaster or something like that.

Language is a whole other topic that I am saving for later when I have nothing else to say

I would like to first start out with my countdowns I have several going now because one i like them and two i am looking forward to so many things so here we go oh wait before that there is something i have to say during the writing strike when i could not watch my favorite shows on TV i started watching new shows online and got really into them so now here we go

So i was just going to write about something funny that happened in my day but sadly there was nothing funny that happened today i mean i in spanish we reviewed and english was boring and so was philosophy so nothing really all that funny also nothing really all that interesting happened so...

Okay i did learn something today Miley Cyrus has older half-siblings and one of them Trace is in a band called Metrostation and i actually like them but i just found that out today so that was semi-interesting

OMG i know last night there was a preview of Camp Rock with the Jonas Brothers and let me just say i am going to LOVE it so so much it looks amazing!!!!!! Gosh i should have a countdown for this too

Ok I am OBSESSED!!

okay so i have decided to blog a little more because homework is way overrated also i am an excellent procrastinator. So, let's talk about the Jonas Brothers. Oh i have a wonderful idea why don't i list all of their songs from most liked to least liked and tell why this should be fun

1. Mandy-- This was the first song that i ever heard by the Jonas Brothers and i really really wanted to be named Mandy it is really sad that it is not about me but i can still pretend that it is right?
2. Girl of My Dreams-- This song i heard around Christmas off of my new Disney Christmas CD and this is when i truly fell in love with them I would gladly take the scarf their Grandma made for them anytime. Anywho after i heard this song my like for the band went to a full blown obsession
   
3. When You Look Me In The Eyes-- WOW i love this song also i love the music video so much that i had to buy it from iTunes and a year ago i wondered why anyone would waste money on the music videos
4. What I Go To School For-- I totally wish that i was the reason a boy went to school. I went to an all girls high school however so no boys went to school to see me because well there were no boys there in the first place.
   
5. 6 Minutes-- All they want is 6 minutes to show a girl how much they like her well guess what all i want is 30 min. to show them the reason for thirty is that i am not as creative as them and so can't create a song explaining how in six minutes they should fall in love with me also for the first like 25 i would be hyperventilating like a total loser so i would also need some time to calm down
6. Just Friends-- I love this song because i can totally relate to what it is saying there is a certain boy that i was friends with but always hoped for something more dang too bad it did not turn out like it did in the song
7. I Am What I Am-- What a good message. A long time ago i was in this horrible place called middle school where all i wanted was to sit with those three popular girls but i never could quite fit in gosh now i totally live the lyrics of this song. I am who i am and if you do not like that i am sorry i will not change for you take that middle school!!
8. Underdog-- gosh i feel like this song was written just for me I mean "she's an underdog... someday she will change the world" well i mean i might not change the world at all but i hope to change at least a small part of it
   
9. That's Just The Way We Roll-- I love this song it is so silly and fun! "And I know we get a little crazy/ And I know we get a little loud/ And I know we're never gonna fake it/ We are Wild we are free / We are more then you think so call us freaks/ But that's just the way we roll" man alive that totally describes my friends and me.
10. S.O.S-- Man I would never be such a bad date if one of the Jonas boys asked me out
    
11. Take a Breath-- I love this song it reminds me not to get so caught up in the moment but to take a breath and relax oh thanks JB for this song
12. Move On-- Now this song was not on either of their CDs but it is the perfect break-up song. Gosh Joe Jonas i am glad that i was not the girl who caused this song to be written anyways i love it so super much
13. Please be Mine-- i would gladly be any of the Jonas' girlfriend (is that how you would make Jonas plural i am not really sure Oh well)
    

Okay i am done listing all of the songs i like i mean that is my top 13 but i really love every song also i would totally date Kevin if he would just ask me or maybe if we knew each other hahaha

Okay so basically i think that the only person who reads this is my friend marie so this is kinda like Flight of the Conchords when they only have one fan, Mel

Wow so i have decided to start a blog! So basically i have decided that while blogging i am going to pretend that 1. people actually read this and 2. that they actually care. So here are some important facts about myself:

1. i love the Jonas Brothers especially Kevin. it is a serious problem that i need help with haha
2. i am in college in the middle of nowhere
3. yeah that is basically all i have to say about myself
4. oh wait i have no idea what i will be writing about in this blog
